Panama Canal Caribbean Cruise

What a trip! 10 days of exploring another part of our world!

We feasted our eyes on the ocean
and our appetites at bountiful buffets
and in dining rooms with ocean views.
BarBQ's on the Caribbean with grilled chicken, beef, and pork were part of our excitement at meal times.

We Traveled with Leisure World Rover's and Dance Groups.
We were new residents in Leisure World.
It was a great opportunity to meet new friends.
Del and I will have lasting memories of the wonderful places we visited at St. Thomas Island, Dominica, Barbadoes, Aruba, Cartejenia, Panama Canal, and Costa Rica.
We met friendly people at every port and will remember the exotic flavors we savored aboard the Sun Princess.

We safely watched an active volcano, saw tropical farms and coffee plantations. Ended our cruise in Costa Rica...
The bus ride to the airport took us through tranquil land filled with forested mountains, grassy plains, and exotic lagoons.
Here we saw gorgeous birds, exotic birds to us like the Toucan, up close; and spectacular butterflys, lush foilage and tropical wildlife (monkeys).

Our last stop after customs was the waiting room at the Airport where hundreds of travellers stood for hours waiting for their flights. All flights had been delayed and there was standing room only. It was a long ride home by way of LA, customs, and Phoenix. Then to Stagecoach Express which delivered us to our homes.

What a Blessing to be home and to remember the wonderful 10 days away from home! A trip of a lifetime. We are thankful!
